I was the second designer on the newly formed team, standing up appointment booking and lead generation tools for home, automotive, pet care, and personal care businesses on Facebook and Instagram. I collaborated with teams across Facebook (now Meta) and third party vendors such as Thumbtack to establish rich, fresh inventory of trusted service providers. I spearheaded third party partnership to verify business legitimacy for high value services, starting with home and automotive verticals.

Get Quote
Quote request for service-based businesses using Facebook Pages. Allows the business to add a ‘Get Quote’ button to their Page, posts, and ads. For consumers, this allows them to request a quote from a specific service provider as well as other similar service providers that match your specific vertical sub-category and service area.

Collaboration with the Marketplace team, who was starting to investigate adding services to their offerings. We partnered on inventory resourcing and verification, and I led design efforts across both teams to ensure workflow and pattern consistency.

Questions for Potential Customers
This evolution of the ‘Get Quote’ button was part of a broader strategy to validate if we could encourage business admins to move from organic to paid, exponentially growing their business. Our theory was that businesses would graduate from adopting the ‘Get Quote’ button to creating CTM (click to message) lead ads. While the original quote request flow was a multiple question survey, consumers and businesses reported that it was an obstacle to an actual conversation.
Questions for Potential Customers (QPC) converted the survey to an automated sequence of questions that would lead to a conversation with the service provider. We found that this increased lead quality and matching, giving both consumers and businesses greater satisfaction.
I led the collaboration with the Messenger and Lead Ads teams to ensure workflow similarity, minimizing re-education friction for graduating businesses.
